Abstract

Purpose:This study wasconductedtoanalyzehow theattitudeofstudentnursesfor theelderly is.
Method:The sample for the study was Daegu-kyungbuk studentnurses, 564.And the attitude toward the elderly was measured by the meaning distinguish instrument.Asthescoreishigher,theattitudetowardtheelderlyismorenegative.The lower,themorepositive.
Result:Towardtheelderly waspositiveatgrouptoattendat a lecture ofGerontologicalNursing,group to have service experience forthe elderly, experience to live with the elderly and concern toward the elderly(p<0.05).Specially, prior factor to influence attitude toward the elderly was levelofconcern aboutthe senile.
Conclusion: Strategies to increase a point ofGerontologicalNursing,to get service experience for the elderly, to have concern toward the elderly, to get opportunity to relate with the elderly and should be studied by variable parts
